SchoolMessenger

SchoolMessenger is a web-based mass communications tool available to all schools and departments in the district. The system enables users to personally communicate via phone, email and text message with parents/guardians to support emergency preparedness, school community involvement and student attendance.

Login Page: asp.schoolmessenger.com/sandi (Password is your employee ID and password). If you get “locked out” of the system, please wait 5 minutes. You will allowed back into your account after 5 minutes.

Account Activation: For security purposes, principals or department heads must authorize the addition of new users. The SchoolMessenger system may only be used by district employees. Non-employee members of external organizations, such as PTAs and School Foundations, are not authorized to use SchoolMessenger. Principals or authorized staff members are welcome to send out messages on an external organization’s behalf.

Principals and department heads are asked to email jcornelius@sandi.net with the following information for each staff member authorized to access school-wide or district-wide SchoolMessenger:

  • School site or department
  • Name
  • User ID
  • Title
  • sandi.net email address
  • Phone number with extension
  • If staff member was transferred from another site

Account De-activation: If a staff member at your site no longer needs access to SchoolMessenger, please email jcornelius@sandi.net.

Training

There are no in-person trainings scheduled at this time. Please sign-up for a SchoolMessenger webinar, which are offered throughout the year. Please sign-up on their website. (Select the "SchoolMessenger Communicate Training")

Classroom Messaging (For Teachers)

Classroom Messaging Login Page: asp.schoolmessenger.com/sandi (Password is your employee ID and password).

Account Activation: All teachers should automatically have accounts. Principal authorization is not necessary.

Training: A training video is available on our staff website at http://www.sandi.net/staff/schoolmessenger/classroom-messaging-video-and-instructions. You must be logged in to view the video. A "How-to Guide" can be found under "Tools, Training and Support." In-person training may be held occassionally by district staff and a SchoolMessenger webinar may be conducted if need is high. Please email jcornelius@sandi.net to request training.
