8/13 - ACTION REQUIRED: 2018-19 School Site Wellness Lead Designation

Annually principals are required to designate a School Site Wellness Lead. Principals or their designees must indicate the School Site Wellness Lead using the Online Contact Form by Friday, August 31, 2018.  If no one is identified as the School Site Wellness Lead for any required assessment program, the designation will default to the principal.

To access the form, users will go to the district Staff Portal. Then click Login at the top of the screen. Users must log in with their district ID and password then proceed to Departments > Data Analysis and Reporting > Staff - My Responsibilities > Contacts Form.  

The School Site Wellness Coordinator will work with school site leadership, staff, and community members to develop a School Site Wellness Committee (SSWC).  The committee will review district wellness policy, assess student and staff health needs, determine health and wellness priorities for their school-community, then work to implement strategies accordingly.
