5/17 Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Program Request for Support

In accordance with Article 18 of the SDEA negotiated contract, any teacher receiving an Unsatisfactory ranking on any of the first four areas of the Stull Evaluation is mandated to receive support from the Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Program. Teachers who receive evaluations of Requires Improvement and/or teachers who need assistance on a voluntary basis may receive PAR support if space is available.
Examples of voluntary support may include teachers who are new to a grade level, or teaching in an assignment for which they are credentialed, but have never taught, as well as teachers who are not yet on evaluation but would benefit from, and be willing to receive, peer support.
In order for the district to meet its contractual obligations, principals must notify the PAR Program staff of all teachers who qualify for services, including any voluntary referrals.

  1. If you have a teacher(s) that you wish to refer, please fill out the following form:  https://goo.gl/forms/P44hYZvFtyqL6tk92
