New Employee Enrollment Information


Welcome to the San Diego Unified School District Employee Benefits Program!  We know your benefits are important to you and your entire family and are proud to offer a generous and comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees and their eligible dependents. 

To take advantage of all the programs the District offers please review the information in our Employee Benefits Information Guide (2019) to help you make the right benefit decisions for you and your family. We encourage you to review this guide in its entirety. The benefit choices you make now will be in effect through the end of the calendar year and cannot be changed unless you experience a qualified life event.

Prepare:

1. You must enroll within 31 days of your hire date or the date you become benefits eligible.

2. Review the Employee Benefits Information Guide and the additional information linked below to learn more about the benefits offered by the district:

      Medical/Dental/Vision Plans and VEBA Member Benefits

      Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

      Basic Life Insurance / Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance

Take Action: 

Turn in a completed Benefits Enrollment/Change Form for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Account (optional) along with proof of eligibility for any dependents being added to your coverage (Dependent Eligibility Verification Requirements). Originals are not needed and all documents may be turned in by any of the methods below:
