This class is designed to introduce the method options of secondary master schedule construction and the initial PowerScheduler setup required for all methods.

Intended Audience: Members of the secondary master schedule team

After completing this course, participants will be able to do the following:

  • Understand the various methods of secondary master schedule construction
  • Understand the importance of selecting the right course and term, and the impact it has on student GPA and earned credits
  • Update the Course Catalog
  • Determine the number of sections needed
  • Manage teachers in PowerScheduler
  • Complete the initial PowerScheduler setup prior to attending the master schedule workshops in March

In order to accommodate all schools, sites are requested to only bring a maximum of 3 team members per site (one should be the person responsible for the technical portion of the master schedule).

IMPORTANT! Please bring your laptop if you plan to access your files, you may not log in as yourself on the training computers.
