Start Times Supervision before school begins at 8:45 AM. For your child's safety, please do not drop your child off before supervision is available. All children should line up in their designated area at the start of the day and will be led into the classroom by their teacher promptly at 9:00 AM. At 9:05 AM the second bell will ring. If your child arrives after the second bell, he/she is considered tardy and must go directly to the office to obtain a tardy slip. If your child will be absent from school, please contact the office by 9:15 AM. Extension 102 will connect you to the attendance clerk. Afternoon Recess Recess hours are 2:15 PM - 2:30 PM. Kindergarten students will have recess in the Kindergarten area. All other students will have recess on the blacktop and field areas. Please encourage your child to use the bathroom during recess times rather than miss valuable class instruction time. In addition to the afternoon recess, kindergarten students will have a morning snack time at 10:30 AM. Lunch and Recess The mid-day lunch and recess period is from 11:30AM to 12:40 PM, depending on grade level. Students have the option of bringing their own lunch or buying one from the cafeteria. Each student will have their own school lunch money account. School lunches may be paid for in advance with check or cash. They may also be purchased on a daily basis with cash. The Foundation sponsors a pizza lunch sale every Wednesday in front of the baseball snack bar. Pizza may be purchased for $1.25 per slice, drinks are 50 cents. Whole pizzas are available for $10.00 each. Proceeds from the Wednesday pizza sale go to the Foundation. Cash only. grades K - 1 lunch: 11:30-12:05 grades 3 - 4 lunch: 11:30 -12:05 grades 4 - 5 lunch: 12:05 -12:40 Dismissal time All students will be dismissed at 3:25 PM Wednesday Dismissal Dismissal time is at 12:45 PM every Wednesday
