STAR Update

Dear Principals and/or CAHSEE Site Test Coordinators:
 
The deadline for ordering Braille and Large Print editions and Audio CDs for the March administration is TODAY.  Please notify Agnes Zufelt if you are aware that any eligible students at your site will need a special edition of the test.  Please see the forwarded email for details.

STAR Update

Dear STAR Coordinators and/or Principals:
 
The 2007 California Reports for Teachers (STAR Teacher Reports) are available for pick-up in Annex 3 daily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  

The California Report for Teachers present results from the 2007 California Standards Tests (CSTs) for English-Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics in grades 2 through 11, as well as information about the California Content Standards and the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program.  

Reports prepared for individual teachers are in sealed envelopes.  The envelopes are to be given to and opened only by the addressee.  If envelopes are received for teachers who are no longer at your school, please return the envelopes to Assessment Services, Annex 3, Attn: Denise Ormsbee.

STAR Update

Attached is the 2008 STAR Scope & Sequence. It includes the test items and estimated administration times for each grade and test.  The information should help you plan and create your spring testing schedule for STAR.

STAR Update

Dear Principals and/or CAHSEE Site Test Coordinators:
If you are aware that an eligible student will need the Braille edition, Large Print edition, or an Audio CD of the examination for the March CAHSEE administration, please notify Assessment Services by Wednesday, January 23, 2008.  Please check with the school nurse and/or your Special Education staff to assist you in determining counts of each.  Braille tests can take up to eight weeks to deliver.
