It's time for 2008-2009 elections for ASB Officers. This year to be eligible, kids need to get signatures from ALL their teachers and Mr. George (Principal) as well as have a 2.0 in both academics and citizenship.

ASB will come around Friday during 5th period to all 6th and 7th grade classes to explain the process, timelines and give teachers a few candidate forms for interested students.

Here are the pertinent dates:

5-22 Thursday - Candidate forms DUE to Ms. Bunch - They'll know Friday 5-23 if they are IN and can run.

5-27 Tuesday to 5-30 Friday - Campaign during Spirit Week.

5-30 Friday 1st period speeches to 6th graders @ 9:00 and 7th graders @ 9:35 in the auditorium.

6-2 Monday - Election Day.

6-6 New officers announced during double lunch carnival.

Parents/Guardians are asked to no longer come into the Staff parking lot for drop off or pick from the times of:

8:30am - 8:45am and 3:45pm - 4:00pm

Please understand that this is due for safety reason. Fortunately, accidents have been avoided in the past and we would like to keep it this way by providing the best case scenario of safety for our students and staff.
