New: 2008 - 2009 First Day of School!
Standley Middle School starts the 2008 - 2009 school year at 9:05 a.m. on TUESDAY, September 2nd. Students should report to their ADVISORY class first.

UPDATE: Physician's Authorization for Medication Form (Omitted from PAcket)
Children that require taking doctor prescribed long term and over the counter medication at schoo must compete the form below and return it to the school nurse at the start of school. Medication will be administered by designated school personnel. This form requires the physician and parent/guardian's signatures.

New - 7th Grade Science Supplies List
The 7th Grade Science Teachers would like students to have the following supplies for the 2008 - 2009 school year:

• notebook: 8.5" X 11" (this is larger than regular college ruled)-sturdy, single subject notebook (similar to 5 star brand)
• colored pencils
• highlighter
• ruler
• (optional) USB drive

East Coast Trip Panoramic Pictures
The group picture from the East Coast Trip has arrived and is available for pick-up in room 601.

New - September 23rd: Make Up Pictures
School photographers will be on campus for MAKE-UP pictures. Pictures will be taken during P.E. class.

New - September 2nd: First Day of School
Students should report to their Advisory class at 9:05 on Tuesday, September 2nd, for the first day of the 2008 - 2009 school year.

August 29th: MAKE UP Registration
Standley will be registering 6th, 7th and 8th GRADE STUDENTS who were unable to register on the correct day, from 8:30 - 12:30 am on the Standley Lunchcourts. Parents are to return their completed registation information. Transportation will be provided.

August 28th: 8th Grade Registration
Standley will be registering 8th GRADE STUDENTS from 8:30 - 11:30 am on the Standley Lunchcourts. Parents are to return their completed registation information. Transportation will be provided.

August 27th: 7th Grade Registration
Standley will be registering 7th GRADE STUDENTS from 8:30 - 11:30 am on the Standley Lunchcourts. Parents are to return their completed registation information. Transportation will be provided.

August 26th: 6th Grade Registration /
Orientation (Two SESSIONS)
Standley will be registering 6th GRADE STUDENTS in two sessions on the Standley Lunchcourts. Parents are to return their completed registation information. Sessions are seperated by LAST NAME.

* Transportation will pnly be provided for the morning session, therefore any parents/students who ride the bus should plan on attending the 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. session

June 16th: 8th Grade Promotion
Family and friends are invited to join us as the class of 2008 is promoted to High School. Ceremony begins at 9:15 on the Standley blacktop.

Boyd Anderson Photography will be on hand taking pictures of the graduates and will have a variety of picture packages for sale afterwards. For more information, visit their website at www.boydanderson.com.

A DVD of the promotion ceremony will also be available from MLY Photography. The order form is available here.

Additionally, the ASB and Yearbook will be selling water for $1, and congratulatory flowers in $2 or $5 bouquets.
