Sections:	In Memoriam • Mary Bemis, whose service with the district began in August 1988, passed away July 15, 2003. Mrs. Bemis was a secretary in the Facilities Service Department at the time of her retirement. • Liza Garcia, whose service with the district began in August 2000, passed away July 2, 2003. Mrs. Garcia was a teacher at Freese Elementary at the time of her death. • David Knight, whose service with the district began in October 2000, passed away July 17, 2003. Mr. Knight was a school bus driver for Transportation at the time of his death. • Dean Schulz, whose service with the district began in May 1983, passed away July 31, 2003. Mr. Schulz was a teacher at Vista Grande Elementary at the time of his death. • Mario Toral, whose service with the district began in June 1988, passed away July 4, 2003. Mr. Toral was a custodian at Logan Elementary at the time of his death.
