Retiring Types

A.L.B.A. Community School will host a retirement reception for Kathy Flanigan, Cipre Powell and CeCe Torrescano, on Friday, June 13, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Bali Hai. Ericson Elementary will host a retirement reception for several staff on Thursday, July 17, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Bali Hai. Retirees include Louise Acton, Jeannette Apodaca, Judy Arnold, Ginny Baird, Darlene Dawson, Patrice Hunt, Gaiochi Le, Janice Lee, Brenda Krug, Donna McGill, Barbara Peluso, Claudia Sanchez, Cathy Sommers, Bill Stallo, Lynne Thompson and Dave Timms. Marshall Middle School will host a retirement reception for Mary Allen, Jane Burda, Sharon Clause, Lou Davis, Bill Forrester, Ralph Lavage, C.J. Middendorf, Dee Ruark and Karen Schneider on Tuesday, June 10, from 3 - 4 p.m. at the school's media center. The event will be followed by a happy hour at the Heuss home in Scripps Ranch from 4 - 7 p.m. Cost per person for cocktails and appetizers is $5. Ocean Beach Elementary will host a retirement reception for Gerri Lewis and Bernice Zabalivetia on Thursday, June 12, at the school's auditorium, from 4 - 6 p.m.
