The Food Services Department hosted their "It's Cool to Eat at School" Food Fair at the Parent Congress on March 11, 2004. Seventeen vendors served samples that showcased three areas of emphasis: breakfast, changes at secondary sites and future directions.

District Accountability Framework

Over the past two years, San Diego City Schools (SDCS) has been working with a group of representatives from district schools, the charter community, City Heights Educational Pilot, and higher education community to develop a comprehensive district accountability framework that incorporates and builds upon mandated state and federal accountability structures and requirements.
