Robert Grano Wangenheim Middle School Principal Robert Grano was named the December 'Prize Principal' by Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) School of Education and KYXY radio. The program acknowledges the men and women that govern San Diego schools (grades K - 12). Bike Giveaway at Rodriguez Earlier this year, Laura G. Rodriguez Elementary third graders participated in a bike safety essay contest. In December, the students were taken by surprise when each received a new bike and helmet for their writing efforts. Joining the festivities were San Diego Chargers Luis Castillo, Kassim Osgood and Cletis Gordon; Station 19 firefighters; Bomberos de San Diego; and Steven Haynes from the Athletes For Education (AFE) Foundation.
