Students Get Charged Up

Bell Student's Thanking Kassim Osgood at the Chargers Game

Students from Bell Junior High cheer on Charger player Kassim Osgood #81 at the Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs game. Osgood, along with Athletes for Education (AFE), sponsored the hard-working students’ trip to the Q as a reward for their good grades and citizenship. Each student was treated with front row seats, a Charger #81 T-Shirt, and lunch. After the game, Osgood stopped by to congratulate the students and signed autographs for them.

Baldridge Boosts Becoming America’s Best

Accelerating student performance in 2007 will get a big boost from Baldridge Continuous Improvement, used by some of the world’s best companies. Led by Angela Bass, executive director, this effort will help all schools and offices contribute to the achievement of the five district goals. Angela spent a few minutes with the Staff Bulletin sharing her insights about how this effort can benefit our schools, employees, community, and, most of all, every young person we educate.

The fifth annual Food Services Holiday Toy Drive provided ten families from schools in our district with an array of toys, games, sports equipment, books, bicycles and gift certificates.
