She was a teacher at Gage Elementary School at the time of her retirement. • James Stevenson, whose service with the district began January 1990, died on January 24, 2006. He was a community service officer at the time of his death. • Ronald Byrd , whose service with the district began November 2004, died on December 18, 2005. He was a community service officer at the time of his death. • Caroline Abiva , whose service with the district began September 1960, died on December 19, 2005. She was a teacher at Jones Elementary School at the time of her retirement. • James Smith , whose service with the district began September 1962, died on September 14, 2005. He was a teacher at Mann Middle School at the time of his retirement.
