An Attainable Dream
Becoming America’s BEST is far more than a dream. It’s a purpose that now identifies and drives California’s second largest school district to deliver on that dream for 132,000 students.

This new theme and identity for San Diego Unified School District reflect an attainable triumph for a district that has already embarked on this quest.

Area Superintendents
SDUSD's 5 New Area Superintendents

In June, the Board of Education approved the appointment of five area superintendents. Staff Bulletin met with each of the area superintendents over the summer to learn more about them and their plans for the students and schools in their areas.

Area 4 – Vince Matthews
Area 5 – Delfino Alemán
