Active Parents Help Out at Edison
On Saturday, February 26, the Dad's Club and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Edison held a clean-up and rummage sale. They planted new greenery in the front of the school and cleaned up trash along the perimeter. Through the rummage sale, the school was able to raise $800 to replace some of the funding lost from allotted state Targeted Instructional Improvement Grant monies (TIIG). Edison is grateful for their dedicated parents, who will do whatever they can to promote existing programs at Edison. Special thanks to Gina Montijo, Edison's Parent Academic Liaison, who worked tirelessly to organize and lead the event!
