In The News
A good school gets a bad rap: Carver Elementary, a commentary by Superintendent Carl Cohn, was published in the August 1 edition of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Supt. Cohn explains the district’s efforts to provide diversity of educational options at Carver and to accommodate the religious faith of our students and their parents, as the law requires. A special webpage about religious observances on district campuses is now posted on the district website at http://sandi.net/news/2007/religious_observances.html. Links to both the superintendent’s commentary and the webpage can be found in the “News” section at www.sandi.net.
