Medical Supplies for Disaster Kits
Monies received from the second Emergency Response and Crisis Management (ERCM) grant have been used to purchase additional medical supplies to augment site disaster kits. The medical kits were delivered to school and administrative sites starting Monday, April 9. The kit is in a box with a letter of instructions secured to the outside. For information, contact Lt. Return to Work Program
The SDUSD Return to Work Program continues to keep employees working by partnering classified employees with temporary work restrictions (due to a workers’ compensation injury or personal injury) with work sites that can temporarily accommodate the employee. The salary of the employee performing transitional work is paid through a special fund; not the site budget. The program is coordinated by Human Resources in collaboration with Risk Management. K-8 Student Recognition
The Board of Education will recognize outstanding K-8 student achievers and award recipients from traditional school sites at the Student Recognition Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 24, at 4 p.m., in the Education Center Auditorium. The board’s recognition of outstanding high school students will be held Tuesday, June 12; recognition of outstanding K-8 students in year round schools will be held Tuesday, July 10.
