Reminder for Traditional Schools -February 10 is Regular School Day
Traditional school sites should remind parents and students that Friday, February 10, 2006, is a school day. Last December, the Board of Education voted to declare January 2, 2006, a school holiday. All schools and district offices were closed on that day. Because of the change, schools will hold classes on February 10, which was originally scheduled as a staff development (no student attendance) day. By having classes on February 10, there will be no need to extend the school year for students.
