Brief Explanation:

 

The California Department of Education (CDE) has directed all districts in California to retrieve any and all California English Language Development Test (CELDT), Form A test booklets and dispose of them in a secure manner. Furthermore, the Testing Unit requested the return of all CELDT, Form A+ test booklets at the conclusion of the CELDT Annual Assessment last October. Therefore, we are requesting that all of the materials listed below, along with the attached Principal Certification Form, be returned to the Testing Unit by June 14, 2002 (Traditional Calendar) OR June 28, 2002 (STYR Calendar). NONE of these materials may be used for any assessment purposes after July 1, 2002.

  • Pre-recorded audio tapes
  • TIP Guides for 2001
  • Examiner's manuals for Form A
  • Examiner's manuals for Form A+
  • Test Coordinator's Manual for Annual Assessment for 2001 (BLUE cover)
  • Test Coordinator's Manual for Initial Identification for 2001-02 (YELLOW cover)
