| On April 24, 2001, the attached Amendment to Article 9, Health and Welfare
Benefits, Section 9.8; of the July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2003 collective bargaining
agreement with the San Diego Education Association for the certificated bargaining unit,
was adopted by the Board of Education. Please post the proposal at your site in a place
conveniently accessible for viewing by interested members of the public, students, and
staff during regular business hours, as required by Education Code and district
regulations. This Amendment has been posted on the Board of Education bulletin board on the first floor of the Eugene Brucker Education Center for public viewing during regular business hours. Copies have also been distributed to the San Diego Unified Parent Teacher Association Council and to all branches of the San Diego City Library system.
