The Planning, Development, Evaluation, and Reporting Department is sponsoring Achievement Connection, which features GESA training. You are invited to send a team of classroom teachers (both new and veteran) to participate. This training consists of a series of workshops; therefore, participants should plan on attending all sessions. The training will focus on the relationship between teacher beliefs, expectations, behavior, and student achievement. The training will be offered on the dates and times listed below at Pacific Beach Center. Participants will be paid at workshop rate or will receive Discover credit. Attachment 1 describes the training.
Your site may send up to eight (8) classroom teachers to this training. Please submit the names of participants on Attachment 2 and return no later than December 12, 2000. If you have questions, please contact Judy Allison at (858) 490-8673. |
