The
Board President's Scholarship Award is presented annually by the President
of the Board of Education to a monthly classified employee interested in
becoming a teacher. This year California Coast Credit Union has increased
its donation to two $1,000 scholarships. Two classified employees will
each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarship funds are to be used for
tuition, fees, or books at any local two- or four-year accredited college
or university. The award this year will be announced in November. Previous
winners are not eligible.
Please make this information available to monthly classified employees assigned to your site. Each applicant must submit one Application form, and two Applicant Reference forms. Completed applications must be received in the Board of Education Office, Room 2231, Eugene Brucker Education Center, no later than 5 p.m., October 23, 2000, to be eligible for the scholarships to be presented in November. |
