Brief Explanation:The district will participate in National Fire Prevention Week October 8-14, 2000, by requiring all schools to conduct a fire drill on Tuesday, October 10. The district is cooperating with the City of San Diego in its efforts to bring the public’s attention to fire safety and prevention. One school will be identified as representative of the district’s efforts and will be the site of a media event. Questions regarding fire drills should be addressed to
