ALL PRINCIPALS, DIVISION AND DEPARTMENT HEADS Street Address Listings & Boundary-Related Web site Resources District staff are reminded that 2000-01 street address listings and other boundary-related materials are available on the Facilities Planning Department web site at http://www.sandi.net/facplan. Items include the following: Street Name Data Entry Instructions: When registering new students, it is recommended that staff use the standardized spellings and abbreviations for street names posted on the web site. Click on the "School Boundaries" button, then choose the "Street Name Spellings" button. Address Lookup Application: Use this program to find out the school assignment for a particular address. Click on the "School Boundaries" button, then choose the "Address Lookup" button and follow the instructions. School Boundary Maps: Boundary Maps for every school for the 2000-01 year are available for viewing and printing. Click on the "School Boundaries" button, and then choose from "Elementary Schools A-Hi," "Elementary Schools Ho-Z," "Middle/Junior High Schools" or "Senior High Schools." Letter-sized districtwide maps showing elementary, middle, or high school boundaries for 2000-01 can be accessed by clicking the "School Boundaries" button, then click "District Boundary Maps." Feeder Pattern Listings: Access feeder pattern listings sorted by elementary, middle or high school, by clicking on the "School Boundaries" button, then click on "Feeder Patterns." Street Address Listings for every school in the district can be found at http://www.sandi.net/facplan/sdcsonly. Administrative Circular No. 187, issued June 2, 2000, describes these resources in more detail. Please share this information with any interested staff.
