Brief Explanation:

The Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) is enhancing its on-line services. PERS has added a new feature called "PERSonal Access." This feature will allow you to access and print a copy of your annual PERS member statement.

In the coming months, you will be able to have your annual member statement information automatically added to the PERS on-line retirement planning calculator to get a retirement benefit estimate.

To use the PERSonal Access feature, you will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued by PERS. To request a PIN number:

  • Log on the PERS webpage at www.calpers.ca.gov/

  • Click on PERSonal Access

  • Follow the "Register Now" instructions

Your PERSonal Access PIN number will be mailed to your home address in four to seven days.
