Brief Explanation:

Schools have an opportunity every year to purchase Scholastic and/or Weekly Reader publications. To take advantage of this opportunity, please follow the procedures listed below for purchasing the publications for the 2001-02 school year.

SCHOLASTIC

The Magazine Price List for Scholastic, 2001-2002 is attached (Attachment 1), including a sample order form (Attachment 2), and an order form that may be printed as needed (Attachment 3).

Procurement Card Ordering Instructions

To complete the order form:

1. Heading Information
  1. School name, "Ship to" address
  2. Select "Bill Now" (include school name, VISA number, expiration date, cardholder signature, "bill to" address)

    3. OR

  3. Select "Bill Later" (do NOT include VISA number nor expiration date, DO include "Bill to" address including school name)
  4. Authorized signature is required with date for either billing option

  1. Name of individual or department ordering magazine
  2. Number of subscriptions
  3. Title of magazine
  4. Price per subscription
  5. Total cost
3. Fax order to Scholastic at 1-630-443-9092

NOTE:

For "Bill Later" option, when invoice arrives call Deanne Leslie, district representative, at 800-387-1437 extension 232, with your procurement card number and expiration date. Transactions for magazines ordered from the Magazine Price List will appear on your September 2001 VISA statement. Payment will be made from your 2001-2002 budget.

EFRA Ordering Instructions

Magazines that are not ordered with a procurement card must be ordered with an EFRA requisition. In order to guarantee delivery by September 2001, the order must be placed by May 11, 2001 (2000-2001 budget).

WEEKLY READER

The Price List and Order Form for Weekly Reader is attached (Attachment 4). Weekly Reader publishers will NOT accept orders without payment nor will they delay VISA billing until September 2001. Therefore, Weekly Reader orders will need to be ordered on an EFRA requisition. In order to guarantee delivery by September 2001, the order must be placed by May 11, 2001 (2000-2001 budget).

Weekly Reader publishers will accept procurement card orders during the 2001-2002 school year. Please contact the company directly if you want to order by procurement card.
