Brief Explanation:

To assist our customers in the process of staffing all classified positions and certificated manage-ment positions, the Classification and Recruitment Unit of the Human Resource Services Division is currently working toward better serving our customers by reorganizing and streamlining our processes. Our first major step is to organize our unit into three teams as described below:

  • Human Resources Analyst (classification, compensation, assignment authorizations for classified substitutes, short-term projects, temporary out-of-class pay, differentials, and reasonable accommodation/discrimination claims)
  • Personnel Analyst (recruitment and testing)
  • Personnel Testing Specialist (processing examination material)
  • Personnel Clerk I (provide a wide variety of support functions to each team)

The attached lists identify the team assigned to serve your site/department needs. The lists include telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Our goal is to ensure an effective, efficient, fair, and responsive human resources process that identifies, hires, trains, promotes, and retains quality classified employees. We are confident that this team concept will be a productive first step toward that goal. Please feel free to contact the team assigned to your site/department with any questions or concerns.

Many more changes are on the horizon, but must be made within the parameters of our current system (i.e., Merit System Rules, collective bargaining contracts, etc.) We welcome your continued support and suggestions for improvement.
