The current district Annual Action Plan writing guidelines were written prior to the development of state standards and before the implementation of the state accountability system, and so they reference district standards and the district accountability system.

We are now in the process of revising a portion of the Annual Action Plan writing guidelines to reflect the new state content standards and Academic Performance Index Growth Targets. The new AAP guidelines will be used during the 2001-2002 school year. Although the majority of the plan format will remain the same, the revisions being made will better reflect your programs and the district focus on state standards.
