The district’s contracted cellular phone provider, GTE
Wireless, has been sold to AT&T Wireless. Our contracted user rate and
telephone numbers will remain the same. However, all cellular phones must
be replaced with new phones that are compatible with the AT&T
equipment.
A representative from the Telecommunications Section will be contacting your work site to schedule a visit to your location. At that time, your cellular telephone will be exchanged for a new digital one, along with accessories, hands-free device, and leather case. Your current telephone number will be activated on the new telephone, and user training will be available. This exchange of cellular telephones will occur in
