In support of school and community outreach
efforts, the Partnerships in Education Department is
distributing copies of The Partnerships Speakers' Bureau, a Community
Talent Registry to all schools. The Speakers' Bureau is designed to bring
community members into your classrooms to
enrich your academic program, and includes 102 volunteers speaking on
approximately 325 topics. This is the
ninth year of distribution.
2000-01 Partnerships Speakers' Bureau (PDF) Ten copies of the 2000-01 Partnerships Speakers' Bureau, including the
process for contacting a speaker, will be sent under separate cover to
each school site. Suggestions for distribution include teachers,
department chairs, counselors, AVID teachers, the Governance Team, and the
School Site Council. If you need additional copies or if you have
questions regarding the Partnerships Speakers' Bureau, contact Ellen
