Brief Explanation: |

|
Under separate cover you will receive the Choice, Magnet, and VEEP wait lists for the
second semester enrollments during the first week in January by school mail. These lists include: ¨ names of students/parents who applied and you have contacted for enrollment with disposition completed (except Choice); ¨ names of students/parents who applied before September 1, 2000, and were not contacted; and ¨ names of students/parents who have applied between September 1, 2000 and December 15, 2000. If space is available, you may offer enrollment to students (in the order of the list) for second semester. If the student is a current choice, magnet, or VEEP student, their Transfer Request Form will be approved. Please remember to complete a Transportation Request form for Magnet and VEEP students. These forms must be sent to the Transportation Department as soon as possible in order to provide students with transportation services. It is important to remember that the current Choice, Magnet, and VEEP lists will not carry over for school year 2001-2002. Parents/students who are not enrolled, but are still interested in your program, will need to apply for school year 2001-2002. Schools should inform parents of this option. The one exception is for applicants who applied prior to 9/3/99. By Board of Education direction, these applicants will remain on magnet and VEEP lists for one more year. If you have any questions, please call Cathy Nuņez at (619) 725-5665 or Sandy Robles at (619) 725-5654. |
