Brief Explanation:

Superintendent Alan Bersin will host the second of two planned districtwide parent dialogues on Wednesday, February 21, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the cafeteria at Monroe Clark Middle School, 4388 Thorn Street. The topic for discussion will be the proposed second phase of the Blueprint for Student Success. A copy of the proposal will be sent to each representative prior to the dialogue.

Every school is requested to designate a parent representative to attend the dialogue. Schools that sent representatives to the first dialogue November 27 are requested to send the same representatives. Schools whose representatives did not attend may wish to select a new representative. Schools that did not select a representative are strongly urged to do so.

All schools may select one representative; schools with more than 750 students may select two representatives. Principals are asked to inform the representatives of the time, date and place of the parent dialogue.

Please select your parent representative(s), complete the attached form and return by February 1, 2001, to the Parent Involvement and Support Department, Eugene Brucker Education Center, Room 3126.

Questions may be addressed to Jeana Preston, Parent Involvement and Support program manager, at (619) 725-5605.
