This year the district again will honor the students ranking in the top one percent of their graduating class at "Salute to Excellence." It will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2001, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Garden Plaza at Sea World San Diego (please note new location). Each student to be honored and his or her parents will receive invitations and tickets to attend. Each principal also will receive two tickets. In order for us to mail invitations and prepare the printed program, please submit the name of each student to be honored and his/her parents name(s) and complete home address on the attached form (Acrobat PDF), and submit to the Partnerships in Education Department, Room 2121, Eugene Brucker Education Center, by Monday, February 5, 2001. To ensure a correct pronunciation of student names, please provide the phonetic spelling, as needed. Please mark your calendars now for this important celebration.
