Procedure No. 4320 requires that a qualifying test for Math 150, Honors Calculus, be given in Advanced Math 7-8 courses in March. The examination should be scheduled during February 26 – March 2. The examination is in one part, with a time limit of 45 minutes. There is no penalty for guessing. Tests are to be ordered from Mesa College using an order form that will be sent from the Accelerated College Program at Mesa College. Orders should be placed by January 26, 2001. The materials will be delivered to the designated person during the week of February 19, 2001. The package will include: 1. Detailed instructions 4. Answer keys Following administration of the test, it is requested that: 1.) Distribution of scores (blue form OR telephone message (619) 388-2344) reach Mesa College by 2 p.m. on Friday, March 2. 2.) All tests, keys, and answer sheets be sent to Don Manahan, Mesa College, G-103 via the Math 150-151 instructor at your school or via inter-school mail by March 5, 2001. 3.) After receipt of Guidelines for Interpreting Scores on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, the yellow rosters of names, scores, and recommendations need to be completed. Head counselors should receive a copy. The yellow form should be returned to Don Manahan by Wednesday, March 14, 2001.If materials are not received or if there are any questions or shortages of materials, please notify Don Manahan at (619) 388-2344. |
