Brief Explanation:

 

Title IX, Gender Equity states that the selection of sports and levels of competition offered accommodate the interests and abilities of members of both genders.

To meet this requirement, we will survey half of our secondary students each year. Schools listed below will receive this year's survey and directions under separate cover approximately the third week of October.

Middle and junior high schools please survey the highest grade only. Please have the survey administered in physical education classes.

Please have each teacher review his/her surveys to be sure they have been completed per the instructions that appear on the survey. Return surveys to Beverly Johnson at Pacific Beach Center by December 7, 2000. This information will be used for Title IX, Gender Equity compliance.
