Attachment - Health Education Mini Grant Application, Optional Instruction, Grade 8

On August 8, 2000, the Board formally approved a delivery system to provide health education instruction in Grades 6-8. The following required health education instruction will be implemented in Grades 6-8 beginning school year 2000-2001. Completion of the instruction fulfills state mandates and Board adopted content and performance standards. Most of the requirements have already been integrated within your Life Skills instructional programs during the past several years. Mini grants are available to any site that offers an optional health wheel at Grade 8 (see attachment).
