Attendance Information

Please call (858) 621-9020 to report any absences. If you are calling to request a Blue Slip, please call between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. (See ** below for site policy)

Attendance Office Staff:

...(A-L) Willette, Giuliana - ext. 1117, se habla espanol
...(M-Z) Chagar, Arvinder - ext. 1119
... Purcell, Tana ex. 1118 (4 hours)

We would like to ask that you read the attendance policy, see below.  Reporting your student's absence the morning of the occurrence keeps you from being interrupted later in the day and keeps your student from being called out of the class to help the attendance office staff account for the absence.   Every period of absence must be accounted for.  Your assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.  Remember, it is important for students to be in school in order to receive the maximum educational benefit.

Any requests for blue slips after this time need to be approved by a Vice Principal.

Students need to obtain a Blue Slip from the attendance office in order to leave campus during the school day.  Blue Slips will not be delivered to the students; only in extreme emergency.

Students leaving Campus without a Blue Slip will be declared Truant, (See Truant Policy).
If the student has an emergency, the student should contact the Nurse, Attendance Office, Counseling Center, or Vice Principal for permission to leave campus and to obtain a Blue Slip.

Students on less than a six-period day need an "Off Campus Pass" from the Counseling Center.  When not assigned to class, students are to stay off campus.
