• 2007-08 Foundation:  Thank you to all our families who supported the SRHS Foundation’s 2007/2008 Family Donations Drive. $38,162.93 was raised this year with approximately 12% of families participating. The money will go towards updating technology at our school with the purchase of document cameras, LCD projectors and laptops for the classroom. Unfortunately, we did not reach our goal of $40,000, so we did not have a drawing for a Nintendo Wii Game Console. Also, thanks to those families who participated in their employer’s gift matching program. This year, we received corporate match donations from Qualcomm, Pfizer, Northrop Grumman, Union Banc Insurance Service, Merrill Marketing Communications, Sempra/SDG&E, Wachovia, Copley Foundation/ Union Tribune and Merrill Lynch. • Foundation Family Donations Drive:  Thank you to all Scripps Ranch High School families who have supported the Annual Foundation Family Donations Drive! A donation of $180 (just $1 per school day) provides funding for classroom supplies, science equipment, scholarships, facilities improvement and so much more. Currently, approximately $30,000 has been collected with only about 10% participation from SRHS families. It’s never too late to send in a donation and a pledge of any amount is always greatly appreciated. Also, please check with your employer for corporate matching opportunities.
