STAFF & STUDENT REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS

This week 9th through 11th graders will take the California Standards Tests (CST's), during their regular classes. We ask that all students give their best effort on the tests. The tests are important for several reasons. The results of the assessments are used by teachers to make decisions about what topics are taught and how they are taught. Additionally, counselors may use the test results to decide placement of students in classes. The scores achieved by our students also establish the academic reputation of our school. As colleges review your applications, they consider the strength of the academic program of the applicant's high school. These CST scores are a major indicator as to the quality of our program. Our current students benefit from the fine reputation established by former Scripps Ranch students. Give your best effort; the CST scores do benefit each student. Campbell

Pokémon Master: Are you never gonna give up Pokémon? Never gonna let down your dreams of becoming a Pokémon Master? If so stop running around and come to B-17 during lunch for Pokémon Game Card Club. Don’t forget to say goodbye to your current clubs as a commitment to this club because this club is what you should be thinking of, join today. Bergen
