Ralph A. Stewart - Head Varsity Coach

Coach Stewart was born and raised in San Diego. Ralph graduated from La Jolla High School in 1964 and earned All-Western League and All San Diego County honors in baseball.
After high school, Ralph attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska and later transferred to San Diego State where he played baseball for Coach Lyle Olson. After graduating from San Diego State in 1969 Ralph played professional ball with the Kansas City Royal’s organization.
Ralph was an assistant coach with Roger Engle at Scripps Ranch High School from 1993-1997. In 1998, Ralph was named an assistant coach at Point Loma Nazarene University with head coach, Dr. Carroll Land. In 2000, Ralph then coached with Jim Dietz at San Diego State University and was the Director of Baseball Camps.
Ralph was named the head coach at Scripps Ranch High School in June, 2004.
Ralph is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Ralph has lived in Scripps Ranch since March, 1972. He is married (Annette) and has two adult children (Lindsay and Scott).
Bradley A. Cutler - Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Cutler begins his second season as the Falcon’s pitching coach. He
previously coached at Madison High School from 1998 through 2003 with coaches
Joe Radovich and Robert Lovato.
Brad was born in Michigan and raised in San Diego. He graduated from Kearny High
School in 1967 where he was named All-Western League and All C.I.F. After high
school Brad attended San Diego Mesa College where he played baseball for
legendary coach, Ed San Clemente. At Mesa, he earned All Conference in both his
freshman and sophomore years. He was honored as the conference MVP his sophomore
year. In 1970, he then transferred to San Diego State where he earned all
conference honors his senior year.
Brad played professionally for the Minnesota Twins organization for five years.
Brad is married (Susan), has three grown children (Carrie, Andrew & David), and
two grandchildren (Cassandra and Lawrence).
Kyle Sandsmark - Varsity Assistant Coach
Joining our
coaching staff this season is Kyle Sandsmark. Kyle is a native San Diegan
and graduated from Scripps Ranch High School in 2005. Kyle is currently
attending San Diego State University and is pursuing a degree in Marketing.
Kyle was a starting player on the Falcon’s varsity during the 2004 season
playing third base and pitching. In 2005, his senior year, Kyle had a
batting average of .382 and an on base percentage of .456. Kyle was named to
the first team All-Eastern League in 2005. His teammates honored Kyle by
voting him as the Most Inspirational Player as well as voting him the Most
Valuable Player.
Berke Reichenbach - Head Junior Varsity Coach

Coach Reichenbach was raised in Euclid, Ohio (near Cleveland) and played football, basketball and baseball at Euclid High School. Berke then attended Ohio University from 1963 through 1967 where he played both basketball and baseball.
Berke was selected by the Chicago White Sox with their first pick in the 1966 baseball draft. He played with both the White Sox and Pirates through 1971.
Berke has coached at Scripps Ranch High School since 2001 at both the varsity and junior varsity levels
Berke is married (Diane) and has two grown children (Eric and Jaime) and is a proud grandfather (Andrew and Kayla). He has lived in Scripps Ranch since 1978.
Don Cerone - Junior Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Cerone was born and raised in Rochester, New York and played football,
basketball, volleyball, and baseball at East High School. Don then attended
Rochester Institute of Technology from 1968-1971 where he played football and
baseball. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1976.
Don played one year of semi-pro baseball in 1972.
Don was a certified youth social worker with emphasis is crisis counseling.
Don coached for 10 years in Scripps Ranch Little League and is a Past President.
He has coached baseball at Scripps Ranch High School since 2002 at both the
varsity and junior varsity levels.
Don co-founded high school roller hockey in San Diego County. He was the
Commissioner of San Diego County High School Roller Hockey Conference for 8
years, and its successor the CIF-Metro Conference for 3 years. He founded and
coached the Scripps Ranch High School team for 12 years that won 3 CIF-Metro
Conference titles.
Don is married (Debra) and has four children (Duncan, Brianna, Cameron, and
Hayley). He has lived in Scripps Ranch since 1982.
