The students will show respect by:

    returning borrowed things promptly.

  13. keeping materials neat and clean and taking care of school textbooks and library books.

  14. keeping the room clean. No stuffing papers or other items in the desks. No writing on desks or chairs.

  15. allowing others to voice their opinions or ask/answer questions without interruption or condemnation.

  16. speaking with the teacher about personal concerns outside of the regular instructional time.

  17. cleaning up around your desk and work area before leaving.
    waiting to be dismissed.

  18. pushing in chairs when leaving the room.

  19. leaving the room in an orderly and quiet way.

I, Ms. Susan Forest-Rode, agree to respect all students’ opinions and answers if they follow the above rules. I reserve the right to change a student’s seat, keep a student for detention, consult the child’s counselor or parent, and/or write a referral when and if I feel it is necessary to do so. I promise to keep students informed of their grade status on a regular basis.

If we all work together, teacher, students, parents; this will be a fantastic year of growth, wisdom, and maturity. I look forward to working with the class of 2010 as they begin an exciting journey in their lives.
