Online Student Resources for Holmes Students!

There are several Internet sites that your children use regularly at school to support classroom instruction.  These are also available, and encouraged, for them to use at home.  All sites can be accessed from home 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

All three Brainpop sites use animated movies to present material in all subjects and meet California Standards.  Students use the same Username and Password for unlimited access.  Paid for by your PTA!

Learning Upgrade:            www.learningupgrade.com   

This site covers Reading and Math for all grades.  Their teacher assigns students a username and password.

Raz Kids:                           www.raz-kids.com

Children read and listen to grade level appropriate books here.  They are assigned individual passwords by their teacher.
Starfall:                             www.starfall.com

Designed for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, special education, homeschooled, and English language development (ELD, ELL, ESL) to teach children to read with phonics.  This is a free site with no Username or Password required.
