Entries are now being accepted for the student showcase at the 2012 San Diego County Fair. The theme for this year’s fair, which runs from Friday, June 8, 2012, through Wed., July 4, 2012, is “Out of this World” and promotes everything about Outer Space.
Student showcase categories include engineering, drafting, electronic media, fine art, general and engineering technology, graphic communications, video, photography, and literary publications. There will be hands on contests for robotics, CAD, and iron artist Photoshop challenge.
Deadline: May 4. Entry fee: $1.00; goes up to $2.00 on April 30.
