Next GATE Distinguished Lecture Series March 20

The 2012-2013 GATE Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) brings experts from all over the United States to the San Diego Unified School District to share with parents and educators the latest in research and classroom practice for advanced learners. These stimulating opportunities will provide you with knowledge to better understand the unique needs and attributes of advanced learners.
 
GATE DLS will take place at the Eugene Brucker Education Center Auditorium, 4100 Normal Street, 92103. Lectures for teachers will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. Lectures for parents are held from 7 - 8:30 p.m. No reservations are necessary. GATE Certification credit is available for teachers. Free childcare is available for the parent session.

Dr. Thomas Greenspon – Perfectionism: Something Positive or Something Negative?

Dr. Greenspon is a psychologist and marriage and family therapist in private practice in Minneapolis, where his primary focus for 25 years has been gifted children, adults, and families.
