As an Instructional Leader, I actively support the efforts of teachers to meet the needs of a diverse population of students through collaboration around elements of effective instruction, unit and lesson planning to get at the big ideas, and using data to plan specific interventions. I understand the need to prepare our students for the 21st century global marketplace and I work directly with teachers to support students’ ability to think critically and make sense of their learning through academic rigor, relevance, and engaging activities.
