Thank you to all for making our annual Harvest Fall Festival a huge success! Special Thanks to our PTO Executive Board, Ms. Karen Harris, parents who set up and worked out infamous & fabulous Haunted House, Mira Mesa High School volunteers, Our United States Marines, Wangenheim Band, Orchestra and Choir, all the families, students & teachers (Mr. Dobbs, Mrs. Laurie Cooper, Ms. Chon, Ms. Morgan, Ms. McGaugh, Ms. Yvonne Sawicz, Mrs. Flores & Mr. Woods) who attended and worked our event. A great time was had by all!
Mrs. Gaines room 15 and Mrs. Laws room 22 are tied for the Mission 2 $ave Youth Savings Accounts. Competition lasts through October 31, 2014. Open a new youth savings account for .25 cents or less and make your deposits Thursday mornings to watch your money grow!
Please sign in and out through the main office anytime you are on campus during school hours and bring photo identifcation with you when picking up your children! You must wear your visitors badge. Any time your student needs to be released for a dental or personal appointment, please bring paper identification to your child's teacher for them to release your student.
Breakfast is served at 7:15 am in the MPR. Please enter through the door closest to the 10 building & music room. Gates open at 7:30 am. If you need access to the main office before 7:30 am, please enter throught the counseling office door. Parking & safe passenger drop off is in the unpaved area between CDC & the 40's main office buildings. It will be open before and after school daily. Please do not park in the CDC parking lot or Walker faculty parking lot which is by permit only. Do not stop at anytime in the red zones or bus zones. Do not leave your car unattended in the loading/unloading zones. Avoid expensive tickets. Limited parking is available across the street from Walker & on Rickert Road. Please drop off your students at their black top line ups according to their room number. Teachers will pick up students at the black top line up when the tardy bell rings at 7:45 am. Please do not drop off children prior to 7:30 am unless they are checking in to PrimeTime &/or having breakfast. Be sure to complete all forms on the enrollment check off sheet as soon as possible. Students must be picked up within 10 minutes of school dismissal daily. School is dismissed at 2:05 pm every day except Thursdays, Walker is on a minimum day schedule every Thursday with school dismissal at noon.
