Aero Peek will be turned off on the student netbook to maximize performance and increase battery life. This will be turned off by the school district. The teacher and students will not have to do anything to make this change. To see what Aero Peek is view our video podcast or see this see this de

Promethean Board Cool Down

The Promethean Board Projector goes through a cool down procedure every time it is turned off. This is a very important cycle that cools down the bulb and maintains the bulb's longevity. Not allowing the projector to go through a complete cool down cycle could cause the projector to overheat or damage the bulb. For this reason, it is important to only turn off your board during the school day if it is going to be inactive for a period of 30 minutes or more.
