On July 1, a number of classified employees will be directly impacted by the reductions in force layoffs and bumping. The Integrated Technology Support Services Division (ITSS) has been working closely with Human Resources to make sure employee security is handled appropriately. Please review the following information to understand how ITSS will manage employee system security for staff affected by layoffs:
CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES:
Without an assignment on July 1, 2012:
Classified employees who received a notice and DO NOT have an assignment after June 30 will have system access until July 31,2012, including Self-Service access to PeopleSoft (viewing paychecks, medical coverage, etc.),district email, and access to their own work files through https://my.sandi.net. All additional security will be removed July 1, 2012.
With an assignment on July 1, 2012:
Classified employees that received a notice and DO have a new assignment through bumping after June 30 will also have changes in their access. Employee security will remain active, but will be modified to having self-service access to PeopleSoft (viewing paychecks, medical coverage, etc.), district email and access to their own work files through https://my.sandi.net.
An employee or their supervisor can request to update PeopleSoft access by submitting an on-line DWA security request. For employees going to a year-round school site, ITSS strongly encourages security requests be submitted as soon as possible in order to process the request in time for the employee’s arrival at their new site. Click here for instructions on how to complete and submit the request.
ITSS Security will continue to work with Human Resources throughout the next several months to identify changes made to an employee’s assignment status and adjust security access as appropriate. For questions, contact ITSS security at security@sandi.net .
